She was predeceased by: her father Frank Dymek; and her brother David Dymek. She is survived by: her mother Shirley Dymek; her husband Greg Petrovic; her son Adam Petrovic (Betsy); her grandchildren, Andrew and Lucy Petrovic; her sister Linda Ammons; her nieces and nephews, Kelly Ammons (Pablo Bellorin), Kasey Ammons (Lauren) and Kaul Ammons (Megan Pinfold); her great-nephew Emilio Bellorin; her uncle Bob; and her aunt Virginia Lewis.
