Rose Marie Barrett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rose Marie Barrett (Plainfield, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 9, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Dennis Figg; and her parents, Edward Provancher and Lillian Provancher. She is survived by: her husband Robert E. "Bob" Barrett; her daughters, Kathleen Figg Alexandria (Ben), Maryann Kosicek (Dave) and Brenda Lotz (late Mark); her grandchildren, Robert Figg (Hannah), Sean Figg (Dawn), Meaghan Figg (Shane Suydam), Rachael Adamian (Paul), Thomas Kosicek, Colton Kosicek (Allison), Daniel Lotz, Joseph Lotz and John Lotz; her brother Robert Provancher (Sue); and her sister-in-law Patricia Aydt (late Linus "Sonny").
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home (15219 Joliet Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church (15629 Illinois Rte 59, Plainfield, IL 60544). Rose enjoyed living in the Grand Haven community, participating in Wii Bowling, Canasta, BUNCO, Card Fun Night and especially the Covid Tree Group on Friday evenings and numerous other activities.
