She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Sr. Ulmer and Velma Ulmer (Jones); her husband Robert L. Lanier; her siblings, Bertha Ulmer, Maryann Kelly, Wesley Ulmer, Earnest Ulmer, Jr., James Ulmer and Howard Ulmer; and her siblings-in-law, Clarabelle Ulmer, Arlene Ulmer and Joe Lanier.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Edwards (Anthony), Beverly Ulmer, Dale Lanier, Rufus Lanier, Felix Lanier, Andre Lanier (Venolia) and LaShanette Lanier; her siblings, Pearline Lanier, Dorothy Pruitt, Carolyn Mabry (John), John L. Ulmer (Gladys) and Willie Charles Ulmer; her cousin Joe K. Ulmer; and her sister-in-law Gwendolyn Ulmer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones and friends.
