He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Mentzer and Anne Mentzer; his stepfather Edward Randich; his sister Barbara Sontag (Bill) of Joliet; his parents-in-law, Thomas and Veronica Riordan; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Riordan (Eileen) and Cheryl Fox (Steve).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia J. Mentzer; his children, Ronald C. Mentzer, Jr. (Lisa) of Warrenville, IL and Rene Riedlinger of Daytona, FL; his grandsons, Zachary, Matthew, Nicholas, Christopher Mentzer, Lucas, Jackson and Samuel Riedlinger; his siblings, Charlene Glowaty (late Frank) of Plainfield and Edward Randich of Ocala, FL; his siblings-in-law, Joan Fenske (late Art) and David Riordan (Donna); and his aunt Patsy Skoog (late Corky).
