He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence DeMeritt (Beatty) and Rex DeMeritt; his niece Julia; and his brother Randall. He is survived by: his wife Marianne; his brother Leland; his children, Deborah DeMeritt, Diane Williams (Len), Michael DeMeritt (Mary) and Frances Kincaid (Jim); his grandchildren, Jessica (Josh), Corinne (Andy), Kori (Sean), Ryan, Kyle (Vanessa), Heather (Joe), Ashley (Tony), Alex (Lauren), Gabrielle, Tommy, Johnny, Maggie, Doug (Vio), Jake and Madison; his great grandchildren, Mark, Reid, Dakota, Austin, Mallory, Taylor, Nora, Jillian, Alyssa and Natalie; his nieces, Pamela (Andrew), Lindsay (Reed) and Natalie (Joe); his nephew Nick; his brother-in-law Archer Stella (Vikki); and his great-nephews, Jack and Ryan.
