He is survived by: his wife Darla Gierke; his sons, Ryan Gierke (Kara) and Jared Gierke (Brooke); his sister Eileen Borgo (Bob); and his grandchildren, Hadley, Hayden, Gavin and Noah. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
