He is survived by: his father Francis Flynn; his wife Susan Flynn; his children, Michael Flynn, Jr. (Christina), Patrick Flynn, Sr. (Jennifer), Kelly Ryon (Kyle) and Amy Brenza (Zachary); his grandchildren, Patrick Jr., Lukas Flynn, Hailie, Brooklyn Stoll, Madison, Taylor, Hayden Ryon and Brady Brenza; and his sisters, Janice Cieniawski (Michael), Sharon McPhail (William) and Mary Ann Brody (Steve). He is also survived by his wife's extended family; and many nieces and nephews.
