He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores Wegrzyn; his son Johnny Wegrzyn; his parents, Jan Wegrzyn and Mary Wegrzyn; and his brothers, Emil and Marion Wegrzyn.

He is survived by: his sons, Steve Wegrzyn (Barb) of Justice, IL, Mark Wegrzyn (Paula) of Plainfield, IL and Paul Wegrzyn (Lisa) of Plainfield, IL; his grandchildren, Adam Wegrzyn (Jenny), Julie Neylon (Mike), Kristen Wegrzyn-Mason (James), Hayley Wegrzyn and Jeffrey Wegrzyn; and his great grandchildren, Devon, Wesley Wegrzyn and Jack Neylon.

Dad tirelessly, year after year would organize an awesome Bash for the Leukemia Research Foundation. He would have me tag along (as the poster child) with him as he went from business-to-business establishment asking for donations to raffle that he would then push during the dance as my brothers played fantastic music on stage making the events always unforgettable while raising money for the cause.
