He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Swoboda and Jane Swoboda; and his brothers, David Swoboda and Matthew. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Swoboda of Plainfield; his children, Nicole Petkovich (Stevan) and Nathan Swoboda (Ellen); and his grandchildren, Luka, Mila Petkovich and Tessa Swoboda.
