Marilyn Louise Purvis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Louise Purvis of Plainfield, Illinois, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Tipton and Hazel Tipton (Cooksey); and her brother Dennis Tipton. She is survived by: her husband J. D. Purvis of Plainfield; her children, Brandy Kientzel (Dan), Abigail Wallace and Giacomo Purvis; her grandsons, Tyler Purvis, Elijah Purvis, Oliver Purvis and Jonah Purvis; and her siblings, Robert Tipton (Sandy), Cliff Tipton, Kenneth Tipton (Teresa) and Margaret Chapa (Lucio). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Plainfield Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (15827 S Frederick Ave, Plainfield, IL 60544).
