With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kristen H. Ternig of Plainfield, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Kristen leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Kristen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her father Brian Anderson; her father-in-law Joe Ternig; and her grandmother Helen Golat. She is survived by: her husband Jim Ternig; her mother Eileen Anderson; her sisters, Lauren Anderson, Rachel Griffith (Shaun) and Morgan Anderson; her niece Nell Griffith; her close friend Ashley Barsanti; and her grandmother Janiece Krajewski. She is also survived by many loving aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Yurs Funeral Home (405 E Main St, St Charles, IL 60174). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
