He is survived by: his wife Sydney; and his children, Theresa Propper (Douglas), Rebecca Abshear, Daniel Abshear (Tammy) and Gregory Abshear (Dawn). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; and several siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.
