He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gina M. "Peachie"; his children, Joseph Soverino Jr. (Rita) and Eileen Soverino; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Tony Rio), Danielle Zelaya (Keven), Michael and Joey; his great grandchildren, Mia, Grayson, Paislee, Elijah, Maci and Rylee; and his brother Anthony (Antionette). He was also cherished by many other great-grandchildren.
