With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Verklan Jr. (Plainfield, Illinois), who passed away on September 22, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Verklan and Genell Verklan (Roark). He is survived by: his wife Dawn (Eddy); his daughter Rachael Comminos (Verklan-Cozzi); and his siblings, Lavern Hertz (late Joseph), Lisa Johnson (Matt), Mary Friese (Ed) and Gerald (Sherry). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Guests are asked to follow guidelines by wearing a mask at the funeral home and at the church.
