He was predeceased by: his parents, Dura Turner and Bernie Turner; his siblings, Dubern Turner and Rose Marie "Ree" DesPortes; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Collins and Eugene DesPortes.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Wendy Traina (Joseph), John Turner, Jr. (Laura), Tara Turner and Jeffrey Turner (Micki); his siblings, Violet Collins, Steve Turner (Beci) and Barry Turner (DeDe); his sister-in-law Jane Turner; his grandchildren, Rachel Novak (Matt), Nicholas Traina (Rebecca), Brittany Turner, Kyla Traina (Josh), Jessyca Cripps (Zach), Logan Traina, Thomas Schuh, Mia Turner, Layla Schuh, Marguerite Schuh, Siena Turner and Ashton Turner; and his great grandchildren, Lily Agba, Fiona Agba, Liliana Novak, Jacob Novak, Elouise Novak, Elsie Traina, Jace Cripps and Sebastian Traina.
