We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2023, at the age of 73, John Joseph McCloskey of Plainfield, Illinois, born in Troy, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine McCloskey. He is survived by: his former wife Yvonne; his partner Laurie Schwab; his children, Brian McCloskey (Amy) and Kelly Schwartz (Jerry); his grandchildren, Ryan Schwartz, Emily Schwartz, Madeleine McCloskey and Asher McCloskey; and his close friend Laurie Schwab. He is also survived by his cousins, and his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's name to the American Diabetes Association.
