She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Hondros; her sibling Sotiri Vardamaskos (Angela); her siblings-in-law, Dimitri Hondros (Toni) and George Hondros (late Katina); and her parents, Panagiotis Vardamaskos and Niki Vardamaskos (Giatra).
She is survived by: her daughter Maria Treanor (John); her siblings, Thalia Vardamaskos and Stefano Vardamaskos (Dina); her brother-in-law Angelo Hondros (Francis); her son-in-law John; and her grandsons, Stefano and Andrew.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church (102 N Broadway St, Joliet, IL 60435). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (23060 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431).
