She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold Ritz; and her siblings, Donna, Char, Jean and Herb.
She is survived by: her cousin Jean; her children, Carolyn Ritz Zachry (John), David Ritz, Jennifer Roberts (Jeff), Steven Ritz (Stacie) and Sharon Novak (Cynthia); her grandchildren, Bradley, Theresa (Dax), Hannah, Will, Samantha, Eyon, Ellen, Mason and Faye; her great grandchild Liam Zachry; and her sister Barb Spalo. She is also survived by family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church - Joliet (2500 S Arbeiter Rd, Plainfield, IL 60586). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Later in life, she became a familiar and friendly face at the McDonald's on Oakton, where she served as a cashier and drive-thru attendant for an impressive 35 years, even continuing her dedication through the pandemic.
