It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Lee Jr. of Plainfield, Illinois, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Bell and Jim Lee Sr. of Mexia, Alabama.; and his siblings, Charles Lee, Robert Earl Lee, Lawrence Lee, Allen Lee, Benny Lee, Howard Lee and Mary Frye.
He is survived by: his sons, Tyrone McCants of Shalimar, FL, Corey Jones Sr. (Betty) of Delray Beach, FL and Marcus Lee (Bianca) of Plainfield, IL; his grandchildren, Daijagh McCants of Florida, Cory "Pee Wee" Jones, Corey Jones Jr. (Debbie), Torrell Jones of Florida, Messiah Lee, Mason Lee and Bella Lee of Plainfield, IL; his great grandchildren, Jada, Lyric and Harmony Jones of Florida; his siblings, Samuel Lee of Silver Springs, MD, Willie C. Lee of Mexia, AL, Mary Nettles of Monroeville, AL and Myrtle McGinnis (Gene) of Frisco City, AL; and his sister-in-law Essie Bell-Lee of Frisco City, AL.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
