We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2022, at the age of 78, James Edmund Sobkoviak (Plainfield, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While still a teenager, Jim became a licensed Amateur Radio Operator and held his call sign, WA9NYO, until he became a "silent key,"In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory to the Plainfield American Legion Post 13 Boys State Program would be appreciated.
