He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pavlis and Venetta Pavlis; and his brother Dennis Pavlis (Betty). He is survived by: his wife Joanna Pavlis; his sons, George Pavlis (Aleksandra) of Des Plaines, IL and Sam Pavlis (Christina) of Plainfield; his grandchild Yana Pavlis; his siblings, Aphrodite Ioannou (late Christos) of Athens and Greece; and his parent-in-law Loula Merikas (late Gust) of Wheeling, IL.
