He is survived by: his children, David Seil and Darla Seil Tilton; his children-in-law, Karen Eller Seil and David Tilton; his grandchildren, Shawn, Justin, Kaitlin Seil and Mary Tilton; his siblings-in-law, Gail Papesh, Leroy Papesh, William Andree, Nancy J. Pohlman and Uncle Cy; his wife Betty; his parents, Herman Seil and Agnes Sievert Seil; his sister Eleanor Seil Coyne; and his grandparents, German Seil, John Seil and Doris Seil.
In lieu of flowers, Gordon's family knows that he would be honored by memorials to St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church Radio Fund, to the Joliet Area Community Hospice, and to the Alzheimer's Association of Joliet.
