With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George F. Thies Jr. of Plainfield, Illinois, born in Harvey, Illinois, who passed away on December 20, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his children, Thomas Thies (Julie) and John Thies (Peggy). He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, George Thies (Susan) and Nancy Felker (David); his grandchildren, George, Bob, Kevin, Kristen, Michael, Andrew and Jon; and his great grandchild Leo.

Memorial donations can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Oak Lawn, IL.
