He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy; his parents, Matthias Berg and Barbara Berg; and his daughter Deborah Alexander. He is survived by: his children, Michael Berg (Yolanda Mendez), Robert Berg (Lucia Vergara) and Michele Baker (Ralph); his close friend Barbara Amaya; his grandchildren, Michael Berg-Mendez, Ryan Hauser and Zachary Hauser; and his siblings, Carl and Rosemary.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Anderson Memorial (21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Anderson Memorial Home & Heartland Cremation Services (21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544).
