He was predeceased by: his parents, Josefina Mejia (Trevino) and Maximiliano Mejia; and his wife Rosa Maria Mejia. He is survived by: his daughter Rita Duque (Alex); his grandchildren, Adam Duque and Anna Duque; and his siblings, Juan Mejia and Oralia Macias.
