It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward P. Cummings Jr. of Plainfield, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward P., Sr. and Madeline M. Cummings; and his sister Cathie Bieri (late Pat). He is survived by: his wife Bernadine R. "Berni" Cummings; his sons, Robert W. Cummings of Morris, IL and Richard E. Cummings (Amy) of Plainfield; his grandchildren, Nicholas T., Allison N. Cummings, Natalie M., Benjamin M. and Katherine R. Cummings; and his siblings, Patti McGrath (Bob), Peg Rungaitis (late Joe), Tim Cummings (Sue), Kelly Lehmann (Jim), Terri Smith (Dave Ellis), Maureen Myers (Jeff), Michael Cummings and Mary Jo Cummings. He is also survived by his family and friends.
