With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Lee Lawler (Plainfield, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Donald Lee may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Leona Lawler; his parents, Evan Lawler and Ruth Lawler; and his siblings, Elmer Lawler (Lois) and Anne Lawler.
He is survived by: his friends, Bob, Sherry Schwarz, Mike and Kay Dahlberg. He is also survived by his Loving nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces, and nephews, also his neighbors.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson Memorial (21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Anderson Memorial Home & Heartland Cremation Services (21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544).
