He is survived by: his wife Margaret E. O'Connell; his children, Thomas Jr. O'Connell (Jean) of Waukegan, IL, Peggy DesPain (Don) of Collinsville, IL, Timothy O'Connell (Karen) of Hawthorn Woods, IL and Kathleen O'Grady (Michael) of Plainfield, IL.; his grandchildren, Thomas III, Michael O'Connell, Donny DesPain (Miranda), Meghan Klaas (Josh), Lilly, Ryan O'Connell, Katelyn O'Grady-Overmyer (Michael), Maggie, Erin O'Grady, Emma, Ella and Holty; his brothers, Jack O'Connell (late Loretta) and Ted O'Connell (Debbie); and his sister-in-law Marilyn Thibeau (late Don).
