He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Russo and Sophie Russo; and his siblings, Jack, Robert and Margaret.

He is survived by: his wife Dolores Russo; his children, Maria Kler, Daniel Russo Jr., Jeannine Russo and Christopher Russo; his grandchildren, Amanda Russo, Allie Devine (Alan) and Sam Russo; and his great grandchildren, Atlas and Otto Devine. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
