She was predeceased by: her parents, Osmar Knickrehm and Pearl Knickrehm (Heisner); her husband Edward S. Murphy; and her siblings, Wendell and Dolores Knupp.
She is survived by: her children, James Murphy (Stephanie), Robert Murphy, Joseph Murphy (Dawn), Mary Altrichter (Jim) and Teresa Porter (Bill); and her sister-in-law Jeanne Erickson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Brown-Jensen Funeral Home (21 N Main St, Manteno, IL 60950). A Mass will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (207 S Main St, Manteno, IL 60950).
