With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol E. Hudson of Plainfield, Illinois, born in East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on March 31, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes (Szajek) and Edward Bogielczyk; and her husband Jimmy. She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Hudson (Julie) and James Hudson (Jennifer); her grandsons, Joshua, Andrew and Henry; and her sister Florence Schiesser (Kenneth). She is also survived by one nephew; and three nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Joliet Fire Department would be appreciated.
