The memory of Carol Ann McCauley of Plainfield, Illinois, who passed away on March 29, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Lacey and Mae Lacey; and her husband Allan McCauley. She is survived by: her children, Richard McCauley, Christopher McCauley (Clarice), Jeanine Sheehy (Joseph) and Steven McCauley; her grandchildren, Colleen, Ally, Kyle Sheehy, Kieran and Katherine McCauley; and her pet Linus.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home (15219 Joliet Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church (15629 Illinois Rte 59, Plainfield, IL 60544).
