She was predeceased by: her siblings, Neftali Muniz and Elizabeth Muniz. She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Acevedo of Plainfield; her grandchildren, Alexandra Lugo (Ricardo Garcia) of Joliet and Gabriel Lugo (Taylor) of El Paso, TX; her great grandchildren, Adriel, Xavier, Aliyah, Adrian and Christian; her brother Hector Muniz of Puerto Rico; her nieces and nephews, Carmen Eliza Haddock, Paul Haddock and Fernando Delgado; and also Emily Muniz.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, funeral services for Carmen will be held privately by the family.
