He was predeceased by: his wives, Mildred Balacky and LaVergne Balacky; and his son William. He is survived by: his daughter Sonia Middleton (Douglas); his grandson Alexander Middleton; his siblings, Oleh and Romka; and his nephews, Vasil (Osanka) and Roman.
