It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernarda Chavez (Plainfield, Illinois), who passed away on January 24, 2021, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Panfilo Chavez. She is survived by: her husband Alex Tavera; her children, Bianca Tavera and David Tavera; her mother Bernarda Chavez; her siblings, Armando Chavez (Susana), Luz Trejo (Luis), Isabelle Del Real (Raul) and Manuela Chavez (Vicente Lopez); and her nieces and nephews, A. J., Michelle, Aiden, Raul Jr., Cristina, Nicole and Ricky.
In accordance with the current COVID-19 guidelines, all attendees will be required to wear a face mask and observe social distancing while in the funeral home and at church.
