She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelva Downey and James Downey; her husband William John Cahill; and her siblings, Kathleen, Jacqueline, Mary Ellen, Cecilia, Laura, James, William, Joseph and John Robert.
She is survived by: her children, William Cahill (Pamela), Christine Dunbar (Mark), Karen Donovan (Michael), Colleen Buzenski (Mark) and Kathleen Cline (Jonathan); her grandchildren, Blair, Kyle, Ryan, Connor, Kayla, Brianna, Jenna, Riley, Christopher, Matthew, Brian, Brandon, Alyssa, Anthony, Alayna, Ashlynn and Austin; her great grandchildren, Joshua and Ella; her siblings, Julia, Joyce and Daniel; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Cahill, Catherine Warren (late Jack) and James Cahill (Denise).
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Immaculate Parish (15629 Division St, Plainfield, IL 60544).
