He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Ruff and Rose Ruff; and his son-in-law Jose Ortiz. He is survived by: his wife Elvera Ruff; his children, Bryan Ruff (Tracy), Shane Ruff (Charmaine), Kevin Ruff, Darrin Ruff, Chris Ruff, Amy Ortiz, Kimberly Reed (Gene) and Roxanne Ruff; his grandchildren, Alexa, Deandra, Adam, Erron, Kenzie, Kevin, Ricky, Rebecka, Melissa, Jose Jr., Hannah, Tejandra, Gabriella, Dylan, Jada, Geno, Ava and Maximus; and his sister Ida Ruff.
