It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zona Olivia Peek of Pittsfield, Illinois, born in Kampsville, Illinois, who passed away on November 16, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess James and Lena Katherine Schumann Bailey; her husband Earl Peek August; her children, Denny Norton, Carol Powell and Nancy Deighton; her granddaughter Alisha Lara; and her siblings, Yvonne Christenson, Bud, Sonny and Lowell Bailey.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Baxter of Pittsfield, Marcine Carlos, Anita Lovell (Mike) of Roseville, Sherry Mansfield of Utah, Larry Peek (Charlotte) of Ohio and Tim Peek (Sue) of Wisconsin. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, many great and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
