He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lee and Dorothy Iona Lewis Baughman; his mother-in-law Carol Virginia Claus; and his siblings, Dorothy Joann Fisher and Carroll Lee Baughman.
He is survived by: his wife Edna M. Whitmore; his children, Virginia Baughman Smith of Pittsfield, Mark Baughman (Monica) of Houston and Matthew (Angela) of Normal; his stepdaughters, Debbie Orton (Jim) of Macomb, Tamara Behymer of Mt. Sterling and Gretchen Curtis (Mark) of Missouri; and his brother Wendell Baughman (Ruth Ann) of California.
