She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Gleckler; and her parents, Neal Thurmon and Venise Sanderson Thurmon. She is survived by: her children, Brad of New Salem, IL, Nancy Halpin (Tim) of Pittsfield, IL and Gail Jones (Mike) of New Salem, IL; her grandchild Paige Smith (Henry) of Lexington, KY; her children, Gavin Halpin and Cheyenne Jones of Baldwin, LA; her great grandchildren, Isaac and Alice Smith of Lexington, KY; her brother Howard Thurmon (Chris) of Hebron, KY.; her friend Peggy Hack Bissell; and her pet Callie.
Memorials are suggested to be made to Milton Christian Church or to the Village of New Salem, IL for the maintenance and upkeep of the bandstand and park.
