The passing of Rebecca L. McIntire of Pittsfield, Illinois, born in Louisiana, Missouri leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 28, 2024 at the age of 64. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Lyndell Scott; her brother Frankie Scott; her in-laws, Harry and Helen McIntire; and her siblings-in-law, Albert McIntire and Carol Carter.
She is survived by: her mother Ima Jean Scott (Applegate) of Griggsville, IL; her husband Richard McIntire of Pittsfield, IL; her daughter Caitlyn McIntire of Springfield, IL; her in-laws, Glenda McIntire, Elaine Guthrie (John), Barbara McIntire and Herschel Carter (Jenny); and her fur-grandbaby Celeste. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Niebur Funeral Home (530 W Adams St, Pittsfield, IL 62363). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to be made to Independence Christian Church or Pittsfield Public Library.
