It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nell Sanders of Pittsfield, Illinois, born in Kelso, Tennessee, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Elma Clayton Moorehead; her husband Emmett A. Sanders; her father Rufus Moorehead; her great grandchild Clara Ritchart; and her siblings, L. C. Moorehead, Dorothy Corder, Elaine McAnally, Virginia McDonald White and Mary Jo Hall.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Ritchart (Robert) of Pittsfield, IL and Karen Sanders of Lafayette, IN; her grandchildren, Gabe Ritchart (Jamie), Travis Ritchart and Abby Griffith (Tony); her great grandchildren, Reese, Miles Ritchart, Cooper, Finnegan, Macallan Ritchart, Owen and Maggie Griffith; and her sister Faye Tankersley Benson.
Memorials are suggested to be made to West Cemetery.
