Gillis of Pittsfield, Illinois, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his mother Peggy Westerhold-Guthrie (Eugene) of Pittsfield; his daughters, Molly Hoots (Josh) of Winchester and Alexis Hardee (Trey) of White Hall; his grandchildren, Karlie Kendall, Greyson, Ellen Hoots and Benson Hardee; and his brother Marvin Gillis (Cheryl) of Beardstown.
