It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Beth Slater of Pittsfield, Illinois, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Hoos and Wilma A. Smith Hoos; her uncle Leon Smith; and her close friend Angie Crowder. She is survived by: her brother Robert'Bobby'Hoos of Pittsfield, IL; her cousins, Phillip Smith (Vera) and Janet Smith; her friends, Joanne Lacy (Bob) and Rhonda Houchins (Richard); and her pet Midnight. She is also survived by several other cousins and friends.

Memorials are suggested to be made to Oakwood Cemetery.
