It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha E. Adkins (Pittsfield, Illinois), born in Clay City, Illinois, who passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Sloan and R. Maxine Bissey Sloan; her siblings, Mary R. Partridge and Lester Sloan; her granddaughter Rebecca Ann Marie Powers; her great great grandchild Lance Dylan Martin; and her former husband Gerald Lowe.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Dean Lowe (Jocelyn) of Kentland, IN, Carol L. Lynch (Mike) of Barry, IL, Kim A. Snyder of Pittsfield, IL and Vickie J. Lynch (Mark) of Milton, IL; and her stepdaughter Linda S. Adkins of Hannibal, MO. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; nineteen great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Blessing Hospice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
