He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyndle Collins and Martha Kirtwright Collins; his daughter Elizabeth Baskett; and his siblings, Barbara Patton, Ruth Ann Evans, Betty Foster, Dorothy Teaney, Leroy Collins and Mike Collins.

He is survived by: his wife Pat Collins; his children, Joshua Collins of Pittsfield, IL, Angela Baskett of Pittsfield, IL and Tara Collins (Clint Long) of New Salem, IL; his grandchildren, Demi Clinton (Devin), Cody Potter (Bri), Cassi Turner (Hunter), Tori McKinnon, Brett Paben, Kylie Paben, Coltyn Pruner (Hailey), Clara Long and Cole Long; his great grandchildren, Gabriella Clinton, Aquila Clinton, Isabella Turner, Lane Turner and Mason Pruner; and his siblings, Rodney Collins (Phoebe) of Pleasant Hill, IL, Leona Gratton of Pittsfield, IL, Vela Ruble of Jacksonville, IL, Tonna Long (Ronnie) of Pittsfield, IL, Janie Shipman of Pittsfield, IL, Janet Stroud (Hoss) of Texas, Janet Sydney of Pittsfield, IL, Evelyn Collins of Barry, IL, Marth Lou Hill (Kenny) of Pleasant Hill, IL and Sandy Davidson (Mike) of Alsey, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
