We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2023, at the age of 71, Jody Wassell of Pittsfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Schuster (Jan) and Pauline Deardeuff Schuster (Roy); her sister Mary Brant; her parents-in-law, LucyJane and Walter Wassell; and her brother-in-law Ralph Pease.
She is survived by: her husband Terry Wassell; her children, Teija Smithers (Mike) of Pittsfield, IL and T. J. Wassell of Pittsfield, IL; her grandchildren, Schae Hill (Austin), Paige Sappington (Chandler), Isaac Smithers, Eli Smithers and Zaden Wassell; her great grandchild Ada Wilde Hill; her sister Sherry Pease; her nephews, Chase Pease, Chett Pease and Coltyn Pease (Hallie); and her pet Molly.
Memorials are suggested to be made to the Pike County Animal Shelter or Blessing Hospice.
