She was predeceased by: her parents, Virdle Blacketter and Lavina Davis Blacketter; her husband Kenneth Gwartney; her stepchildren, Kenneth Gwartney and Marge Schmidt; her sisters, Pearl Ruble and Mildred Blacketter; and her niece Monica Ruble.
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Judith Meyer (Roger) of Quincy, IL, Barbara Malone (Bud) of Kinderhook, IL and Sheila Gwartney of Barry, IL; her cousins, Vera Staffy of Pittsfield, IL, Owen Chaplin of Leesville, AZ and Nancy Wilder of Jacksonville, IL; and her nephew Larry Ruble of Pittsfield, IL. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; and her church family.
Memorials are suggested to be made to Detroit Christian Church, Oakwood Cemetery or Burbridge Cemetery.
