He was predeceased by: his parents, William Otis and Gladys Lynch Horton; his wife Dorothy Jean Long; his siblings, Delbert Horton, Wanda Hayes, Margaret Damon and Emily Roth; and his daughter-in-law Anne Horton.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Horton (Chris Henry) of Pittsfield, IL, Steven Horton (Julie) of Farmington, MO, Michael Horton (Gayle) of Louisiana, MO, Crystal Russell (Martin) of Springfield, IL and Arlee Grimsley (Pete) of Englewood, FL; his grandchildren, Kerensta Blaken (Jeremy), Daniel Horton (Jennifer), Erica Schroeder (Dustin), Robert Horton (Melissa), Jeremy Horton (Nikki), Autumn Haskell (Nat), Brandon Grimsley (Michelle), Cody Horton (Laura) and Josh Dotson; his great grandchildren, Rachel, Katie, Aubrey, Aden, Maybree, Alex, Shakia of Kesley, KD, Elayne, Adelynn, Owen, Ian, McKayla, Anna, Drake, Bruin, Bull, Gracelyn, Charley, Phoenix, Maddox, Max and Lucy; his great great grandchildren, Rose, Luna, Henry and Brynnlynn; and his sisters, Mary Jo Phillips and Mildred McIntosh.
