Elizabeth Carnes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Carnes of Pittsfield, Illinois, who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry H. Walmsley and Nina Cummings Walmsley; her husband Donald M. Carnes; her brothers, Granville and Hayden; her siblings-in-law, Lucile, Dorothy, Bonita, Helen, Kermit Klinefelter, Paul, Mildred and Flo Carnes; and her nieces and nephews, C. W. Losch, Shirley Kamp (Rich), Connie Carnes, Mary Walmsley, Danny Walmsley and Delbert Walmsley.
She is survived by: her sons, Gregg (Sandi Carnes), Kent (Marty Carnes) and Kevin (Tricia Carnes); her grandchildren, Amy (Ron Hoskin), Leecia Carnes, Rev. Scott (Carrie M. Carnes), Carrie D. (Brentson Dixon) and Ryan Carnes; her great grandchildren, Reagan, Roam, Ronan, Renick, Rigston, Rispen Hoskin, Henry and Phillip Carnes; and her nieces and nephews, Marilyn Losch, Chris Walmsley English, Ginger Wallace, Gib Walmsley, Dr. H. A., Carolyn Walmsley and Delbert Carnes. She is also survived by friends and family.
Memorials are suggested to be made to Pittsfield United Methodist Church or West Cemetery.
